How to use Morpheo

From an idea to something worth sending: how to ask, how to keep shaping what you made, and what to do when something is off.

Your first build

  • Describe it. Say what you want in plain words: a game, a site, a tool, a 3D world. Add a photo or a file if it helps.
  • Watch it build. Press Build with Morpheo. Files appear as they are written, and your app runs as soon as it can.
  • Keep talking. Ask for changes the way you would ask a person. Every reply can be undone in one step.

Ask for what you want

There is no special format. A few details go a long way.

  • Say what it is and who it is for.
  • Describe how it should feel: cozy, bold, playful, calm.
  • Name the few things it must do. Leave the rest to Morpheo.
  • Paste a screenshot or attach a picture to show what you mean.
  • Instead of "a game", try "A 2D platformer where a paper boat sails through a flooded city collecting lanterns. Three levels that get harder."
  • Instead of "make it better", try "Make the jump feel floatier, and add a small puff of dust when the boat lands."

Keep shaping it

  • Auto: Morpheo decides whether you are asking something or asking for a change. Ask: answers and advice, files stay as they are. Build: Morpheo makes the change.
  • Big ideas are built in phases. When a phase is done, say "continue" to start the next one.
  • You can type while Morpheo works. It reads your message between steps.
  • Not what you wanted? Press Undo on that reply and everything it changed goes back.
  • Workspace shows every file in the project, and you can edit any of them yourself.

Use your own things

  • Your Library keeps everything you make: pictures, sets, 3D models, and the images your builds create.
  • Upload your own pictures, logos, 3D models, sounds, video and fonts, up to 25 MB each.
  • Morpheo's library has 1,100+ ready-made 3D models, scenery and 12 voices.
  • In the chat, type / to pick exactly what to use, or just name it.

From a photo to a game

  • Upload a photo of your dog in the Image Studio.
  • Make a set: "my dog as a knight, a chef and an astronaut".
  • Pick a favourite and press Convert to 3D.
  • Ask Morpheo: "Make a small 3D game starring my dog model, collecting bones in a park."
  • Share it. One link opens on any phone.

Share it

  • Share gives you a link anyone can open, no account needed, and shared apps install like a real app.
  • Press Alt+Shift+C while the app looks its best to choose the picture your link shows.
  • Download the files, or on Pro, show a QR code.

Credits and thinking

  • Chatting, questions and plans: free. A build on an Everyday model: 1 credit. On the Best model: 15.
  • High and Extra high thinking multiply a build's price by 1.5 and 2.
  • Each picture made or edited: 1 to 4 credits. Turning a picture into a 3D model: 2 to 5 credits.
  • AI replies inside an app: 1 credit per 10.
  • Viewing, playing and sharing are free.

When something is off

  • The preview is blank or stuck: tell Morpheo what you see, in your own words.
  • Something is broken: say "fix it", or use Scan app for issues at the top of the chat.
  • It changed the wrong thing: press Undo on that reply and describe the change again.
  • It stopped partway: say "continue".
  • It looks generic: give it a look to aim for, such as colours, a mood or a reference picture.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to write prompts in a special way?

No. Describe what you want the way you would tell a person: what it is, who it is for and how it should feel.

Can I undo a change Morpheo made?

Yes. Every reply that changed files has an Undo button that puts all of its changes back.
